The program was designed in two travel blocks, allowing each student to choose the experience that best fits their exchange program, schedule, and budget.

Day 1 — Welcome to Iguazú!

First day on Argentine soil

City tour of Puerto Iguazú, the Triple Frontier — the meeting point of Argentina, Brazil, and Paraguay — and first moments with the international group.

  • Visit to the Triple Frontier: Argentina, Brazil, and Paraguay
  • Welcome meeting with the international AFS group
  • First night in the city of the falls

Day 2 — Waterfalls: Brazilian Side

Panoramic views of Iguazu Falls from Brazil, surrounded by tropical rainforest. Visit to the National Park and the Bird Park.

  • Walkways over the Iguazu River with front-facing views of the falls
  • Iguaçu National Park — UNESCO World Heritage Site
  • Visit to the Bird Park: toucans, macaws, and tropical butterflies
  • Lunch in the park with views of the rainforest

Day 3 — Argentine Falls & Gran Aventura

The final morning of the Iguazú stage — time to breathe it all in one last time before the road ahead.

  • Check-out from the hotel
  • Option 1: Return to your city of origin in Argentina
  • Option 2: Continue to Salta and Jujuy — the Full North Experience awaits
